Mero shows the results of traffic levels in buildings in two ways: via restrooms, and via full building occupancy. This article explains how to obtain traffic levels for a building with lobby traffic sensors.
The hierarchy of Mero's dashboard analytics is as follows:
Organization > Building > Floor > Restroom > Dispenser > Device (individual roll)
If you are a property manager, the Mero homepage shows all of the buildings you manage.
Select the building you want to view occupancy for.
The building page shows summarized traffic data for the entire building, including restroom occupancy. The traffic reflected in the graph and "Visitors Today" is the sum of traffic across all restrooms and lobby entrances for the entire building, in this example, 400 University Ave.
Floors show the entire traffic for an individual floor. Select a floor to see summarized traffic for a specific floor.
Here, the entire 14th floor data for 400 University Ave is shown. Any outstanding alerts will appear on the left hand side of the screen. We can use the Floor Level to obtain full building occupancy as well, by viewing lobby traffic.
Building Occupancy via Lobby Traffic
At select Mero buildings, traffic sensors are used to monitor overall building traffic via entry/exits at lobbies. Use the traffic passing through the lobby "floor" where all building entrances are monitored in order to get an accurate picture of the building occupancy for the day.
- Go to the building you are interested in finding building occupancy data for
- Click the "Lobby" floor
- Use the date picker and range selector to get the total building occupants between a specific time frame for the lobby. For example, you can select "Today" from "8am-6pm"
Finally, we can determine the traffic through a specific restroom by selecting that restroom on a floor. In this example, all of the info shows data for the 14th floor women's restroom. "Total People" is a sum of the data in the graph, so be sure to refine the graph for the specific day you are looking for.
